West Properties confirms participation in MIPIM 2021.

This year's edition of the world's largest MIPIM real estate event, the pandemic of the coronavirus has shifted, after an initial delay to early June, definitely to March 2021.

„Together with our partners in Cannes, we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Cannes 16-19 March 2021 for an excellent MIPIM and, in the meantime, we hope people stay connected and, above all, safe,” said Ronan Vaspart, MIPIM Director.

In line with the new situation, West Properties management has decided to confirm its participation in MIPIM in 2021.

"We are sorry that we did not have the opportunity to present the potential of the real estate market in Serbia to the most influential players in the world this year, but we will do it next year," said Vladimir Vukicevic, CEO of West Properties, pointing out that Serbia has become Europe’s Hot Spot in recent years when it comes to real estate market. "Prior to the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, the realization of two million square meters was recorded in Belgrade alone, which is the highest per capita result in all of Europe," Vukicevic said.

“The main benefit of our participation in MIPIM this year, we saw in attracting foreign investors at a time when Serbia, and especially Belgrade, is experiencing expansion in the construction sector, to make it an “equal game” with their presence in our market. This will be our goal for next year as well, as it is extremely important that they show all of us the world standards that govern the real estate world. It is very important to have healthy and good competition, to have an insight into others “rules of the game”, how others perform, which will be of particular importance in the coming period after the end of the coronavirus pandemic. This is, in a way, a motivation for all of us, and for local investors, to improve their knowledge, to keep up with the world,” concluded Vladimir Popovic, Managing Director of West Properties.
